Missouri or Kansas hunt wanted

I'm kicking around the idea of going to MO or KS to deer hunt. I've just started looking at regulations. Are they OTC or draw? How much is out of state license?

Missouri tags are OTC. $225 for non-resident any deer. I haven't been to Kansas since '10 and can't remember the exact amount but they are more expensive than Missouri. Kansas is also a draw but they usually have leftover tags in each unit.

If you decide on Missouri are you archery or firearms hunting ?

Units 6 and 8-16 were the only units with left over tags for Non-residents for 2014 original DRAW.
By July 8, 2014 ALL Non-resident Leftover tags were SOLD OUT.

Yall have me looking now. How is hunting in S.E. Missouri? Do you need to be in the NW of the state to get the better deer if your hunting public lands?

Brothers Outfitting seems to be a good bunch for MO. You may want to check with them. They are from Cullman I think.
