I'd like to have one to go with my 20 gauge 1100. Is it a wingmaster?

The thought I was trying to get across this morning was is it the one with te plain wood or the high gloss? Post up some pictures. What were you wondering about it? Value or what?

Its high gloss and value is always nice to know on your gun and I have no ideal but also just how well people like or dislike this gun. I'd say just general talk. Ill post pics when I get home in bout an hour or so.

I lucked up and got a older 2 3/4" with 28"mod barrel high gloss and some pretty scroll work on it about 5 year ago gor $150 ole boy said it didnt want to eject so I tore it down cleaned it up put new rings in it and never looked back. ..they are very good guns as long as you dont abuse them same as any firearm for that matter but thats just my thoughts

The cheapest I've seen them lately is 450-500 and those were in just okay shape. The 1100 is one of those iconic shotguns. I've got a 20 gauge that my grandfather bought for my dad when he started hunting and I dove hunt with it some. They are dependable that one I have sat in the gun safe for years I got it out last year a few drops of oil and I shot about a case of shells out of it with no problems.

Have a 3in. full, appx. 1975. It's cut down to 22in. with a comp-n-choke now and is painted to Andy's specs. smile

Great guns. Keep them clean and they will shoot fine. Got one from 1975 that I still pull out from time to time and it still blasts away. Swap o rings and clean the gas port and possibly change springs and it will shoot for a long time. Mine is actually a 2 3/4. It killed a lot of turkeys prior to finding out that you need TSS 10 gauge mega blasters, haha to kill them.

My dad bought one brand new in 1969 for $159 I think it was back then. 28" straight modified. We've put a screw in choke barrel on it some years back and I still hunt with it occasionally..
They're good shotguns that were made back when remington made good stuff.

I have a late 70's 1100 magnum my grandfather left me and another 69 1100 magnum I bought myself . I gave 400 for the one I bought a couple of years ago . I would buy another if I found a good deal .

Great gun. I have one just like that. It is my fathers. Also have two barrels for it. I missed the first deer I ever shot at with that gun. Don't think it's been shot since.

I have that same gun. Picked it up two Falls ago for $200 as the gun wouldn't shoot. Sat in his safe for a long time.
Cleaned it up and boom. Still shoots today.
I have a 3 inch chamber and a 2 3/4 barrel on it.

I have one that I bought around 1973 identical to that one. Mine has a 30" full choke. Killed a pile of deer with it.

I had one like that only to have it stolen when I was in college. It was a sweet shooting gun.

They're good guns. I have a 12ga 1100 Magnum and a Trap. I've also got one in 20ga. I got it last year for my son when he gets older but I used it dove hunting last year and really liked it. The first deer I ever killed was with one in front of some dogs when i was around 12.
