Well i walked to the stand with no light using the full moon. Sitting here in a short sleeve shirt and a south wind. Lets just say my hopes are not the highest.

This weather sux! I've got a nectarine tree at my house already flowering and turkey are gobbling at my farm in Bibb county this morn. Ruts over here so I figured the only chance had was cold weather forcing them to get up and eat. Between the combination of weather post rut and full moon ill be happy if I see anything. Anybody else hate the weather man that a week ago was predicting mid 40 highs for this weekend?

It's been a strange season anyway with the weather. I'm laid up on a power line hoping to see something. It's upper thirtys up here.

Last deer hunt for me this year. Haven't had any luck this year at all. If it can go wrong it has. Sitting on a green field surrounded by a swamp hardwoods and saw grass. Saw a big 6 chasing two doors yesterday. Hope he comes back through today.

Man this season has went by in a hurry! Back in the woods and blessed. Its been a good season killed one opening day of gun season now hoping to kill one to wrap my season up good luck to everybody.

It is 60 somethin° here. Sittn in a creek bottom. Wind is swirlin, they are runnin dogs on the club across the road. I hear a fourwheeler right now.

Finally made it. No deer yet, but I'm covered up in Turkey's.

I'm back on the power line I've been hunting a good bit. It's 47 in Dallas Co with a 10 mph NNW wind. I saw 10 here yesterday and several were bucks. I've already seen one small 6. Good Luck guys!!!

I'm hunting with bwhunter this weekend down in Macon Co...I'm set up on the edge of a pine ridge where it meets a couple of hardwood bottoms. I've heard quite a few shots in the distance already, so maybe they're gonna move this morning...C'mon "Mossy Horns"

I'm on the edge of a hardwood ridge, our rut is just starting and does have been passing thru the area. Hopefully they come thru this morning and bring ol mossy horns with them. So far I've only seen 375,246 limb rats.
My view:

Hanging in a nice hardwood funnel. I like my odds today! Saw something fast and grey earlier.

Hunting hardwoods in valley grande, dallas country. No deer saw and no shots heard so far. Im thinking of giving up at 8 going to mr waffle and get some sleep before work tonight.

Looking over food plot in Franklin county.

Just smoked a doe at 14 yds with my bow. Watched her drop about 45 yds out. Nothing like a bow kill.

Hunting a swamp this morning. Already seen two - one doe and a 6" spike. Both were walking in the water, while dry ground was available. Guess it just doesn't bother them.

Just had another rack buck cross power line. I could not tell how many points he had. I just know he was a shooter.

I've seen 3 does and 2 spikes. One of the spikes was pushing a doe hard!! The other spike came in to my can call!

Saw a nice buck about 20 minutes ago. Couldn't get a shot on him.

Just had a doe n a youngan walk through 30 minutes ago. There are 6a hunters on my club this morning and im the only person to see a deer. I hope I get to see some chasing down here but it ain't lookin too good as of yet

Had one come to some calling just after daylight. He stayed in a thicket about 100 yds down wind for about 30 minutes and then went back into the swamp. Had a pretty good rack, but I only got one glimpse of him.

Just had another spike come cruising through!! Now all I need is for his Paw Paw to follow some young tail by me!!

At 2:00, I had 2a bucks chasing a doe across the road in front of me walkin to the stand. One was a big bodied one horned 3pt. Guess the chase is on in central Baldwin now.

I just passed on a nice 7 pt with bow in hand. I had him broadside at 25 yards. He was clueless to my presence.

Got a nice one this morning dogging 2 does at 11:15. He was grunting every breath and I had to shoot him on the run when all attempts to stop him had failed! 200 lb 7 point. That is my beautiful wife posing in the picture with me...now if we can just get her one!

Me and the wifes at my lease.Been seeing a big 3 point,8 point and 6 point in this field regular.Hoping one pops out for her.She loves hunting but don't get to hunt much.

Sat at this funnel this afternoon saw 1 doe, and this kitty cat.

Wound up seeing two 4 pts, 5 pt, big six point and 7 does. Killed one of the four points that had a messed up rack for some meat. Not bad for the first day ive gotten to hunt all season
