I joined a club in Cherokee County this year close to Little River Wma.Anyone have any info on when the rut usually peaks?Thanks in advance.

A buddy of mine hunts in Cherokee county, not far from the GA line. The peak of that rut is the week before gun season starts. I know the rut in AL is screwy. That's the earliest one I know of.

I was in a club in Cherokee Co for 5 years and we always killed our bucks from 1st day of gun season to mid December and then you better be in another club in west or south Alabama b/c they hid after then.
