Prob last hunt today. Ground blind on hayfield where wife got her buck the other day. Going to see grands next weekend. On doe patrol unles this mature 8 steps out.

Reading a good western and rain coming down. Got seven does and two young bucks in view right now.

Been slow. Ain’t seen nuttin but 3 gobs. Camera not going off either. Saw a nice buck and several does driving in tho.

My cameras have been dead for 3 days except at night.

Our rut is done. Getting bucks back together on cam already.

I figured they would move good today...nothing yet

Shoulda hunted all day. But I am sitting on the couch making Dr. appointments, working on taxes and trying to find a new accountant.

Same thing around the house. The does all over have vanished and it’s mainly bucks now. We are in the middle of the second estrous cycle so the does are hiding I guess.

My camera behind the house hasn’t sent a picture since Friday night. It shows good battery life, I’ll check it today. Across the road I had a picture of two does in 2 days

Got out about 10. Of course I see deer on the road driving home.

Sitting in the same ground blind I killed the nice 6pt back in November during Smokepole.

Sitting in a ground blind cause it’s easy and I have to get on the road at dark. Sun breaking thru and a doe and little one just walked out. Saw a decent buck in the middle of the day crossing the road with his nose on the ground.
