Well I reckon I’ll get the party started today. Here’s my view for the morning hunt. God paints yet another masterpiece.

I have had a good many pics this morning ole big was out and about at 630 and I was pulling up at work. Oh well maybe tommorrow

Doe down earlier. Already at the processor.

Quickest hunt ever. Was walking to stand, peeked around a corner of plot and there he stood looking at me. Stepped back, put one in the chamber, stepped into a clear lane and shot him at 75 yards. He dropped where he stood. He is in cooler and it’s nap time for me.Will post pics later but at 153 lbs it was the biggest 4 point I have ever shot lol

Congrats to the kills guys! Brad, at least we got some meat this year.

Thought my season was over Sunday. Got lucky and if I don’t get called to work, this afternoon may wrap things up. Really could use one for the freezer. We will see. Good luck guys.

Setting on the porch this morning smoking and drinking coffee had 23 slick heads walk by the yard . Didn't see a bump hump or knot and none of their heads .

Sitting behind the house for a quick hunt after work. If that 4 point shows up, he may be in trouble.

Watching one button buck at the feeder. Just hoping he might live a couple more years and keep to the feeder in the daylight

10 does/yearlings. One spike that came in there like a bowling ball

I saw six deer. One button buck, four big and small does and a spike. They were all fighting each other. It was kinda weird

Well as per usual I'm at work and ole number 1 showed promptly up at 1730 hrs. He best do it tomorrow is all I can say

Guess I'm gonna tap out for this season. Done got hot and rainy down here. South wind this morning messed me up. Freezer looks good, so I'll make it through the Summer.

This was probably it for us maybe Thursday afternoon depending on weather I'd like one more especially the big wonky rack 8 I've been passing up
