Been sitting in a shooting house since 6:15 on a 4 acre greenfield in southern Greene County. It started a light drizzle about 30 minutes ago. Have not seen anything yet.

I’m here, funnel in a Creek bottom. Good luck everyone, Robinhedd
Got in for a mid day sit. Been seeing deer moving late morning and mid day. Maybe it will pay off. Foggy and drizzling with the wind coming out of the north.

Theres one right across from my office in Hampton Cove area. If it wasn't so bloated I'd go get some backstaps...

Man I live 10 minutes away.....let me get my rifle.....lol......I have seen bucks chasing does in that area on several occasion....I think with all the development and houses coming up, the small amount of habitat they have right there will be gone in a few years......

I love seeing deer! It is amazing how many deer there are around Jefferson county compared to when I was growing up. I try to tell my son’s how lucky they are to have the hunting experience they get to have! Growing up hunting in the 80’s, we would be lucky to see 10 deer the whole season! Now we see 10-20 each sit. I am always grateful for what I have. Yes, I am now spoiled but still have the appreciation for how good the hunting is now VS 40 years ago.

Oh I’m with you. Got one spot it’s not uncommon to see 8-12 in a afternoon. I need to cull some too but they sure are enjoyable to watch.

I saw a fawn in the grassy area between academy and Outback this summer that could barely walk, I reckon the doe had her in that tall grass surrounded by pavement

Well had one of the best evenings in awhile. Saw 9 does 2 bucks a lil chasing and one buck was the main one I wanna kill. He liked to got it this evening he just wouldn't get still in the right place and it got a to dark to cut one loose at him. Hope he does a encore performance tommorrow but that was prolly my one chance. But he is a sho nuff goodun could be my biggest top 3 for sure if I can get him killed. If he was to make it till next Friday he's gone be a stud next year

Got pics of what we hoping you kill?
I was able to sneak away from work a little bit early this afternoon and get in a quick hunt near the house…I really needed one more doe for the freezer and I still hadn’t killed a deer with my bow this year, so I only toted my bow this afternoon. I’ve got 3 bucks there on camera that I’d kill with my bow, but they aren’t anything special for me with a rifle (they’d be my best bow kill). Deer moved very well after the front and I saw 11 deer in the woods. I tried to draw on one big doe while 6 deer were all within 30 yards. She wigged out and they all spooked!! Right at dark, a group of 3 (doe and 2 fawns) came from straight behind me and I spined her at 15 yards. I have no idea how I got away with drawing on her!! She was looking right at me and didn’t spook as I eased back. I had to put another arrow in her to finish her off.
