Plowed mine up which ain’t a lease but I ain’t putting seed out til rain which may be end of the month or later. Typically dry this time of year around here. Enjoy all the nice days cause when the pattern changes it will probably rain every other day.

We usually wait till mid October, we're probably going to put in the ground on the 22nd.

I did on one of my leases. REALLY wishing I hadn't but at the time it was necessary.

Got 28 tons of lime on the ground. Going to spread and disc it in today then plant in a couple weeks if this weather stays dry. I remember about 15 years ago when we didn’t have a blade of grass until December because it was so dry.

Everything is ready and waiting .... lime out, seed and fertilizer purchased, but like many others have stated, I am not laying seed until I "know" we have rain coming.

We’ve got everything cut and disc up. Had planned on planting October 1st but going to watch the weather and wait until some rain in the forecast. lol @ all y’all premature planters.

Ground is ready , I'm not. Might plant next week.

Why people plant so early mystifies me. You run the risk of losing it to dry spell and your fertilizer runs it's course before season even opens. 3rd to 4th week of September for bow plots , first couple weeks of October for gun plots works mighty well in NA. Then side dress them early December with 100 - 150 lbs per acre of 34-0-0.
