Cool and breezy here in west Kentucky. Stephen has 6 major trails in front of him I just picked a white oak flat to sit. I’ve seen 6 coons so far. My wife got her a velvet buck earlier. Too bad it was with her rav4 five and a half hrs away. 😒

I saw a lady get her first velvet buck in Chilton county today. I would hate to know that I drove all that way just to be outdone by a woman in my home county.

Well Stephen is on the board with a 70# doe. Hard quartering shot at 15 yds and smoked her. I had a doe in range but never was able to get a shot. At least we are on the deer finally.

Hit the snooze this morning I thought turned out to be the off button. We scouted a little around lunch and are back in the tree for the afternoon.
