Guest son shot a good buck last night. Jumped him so we backed out and going to look this morning.

Kill em up! Makin the drive from west Tennessee back to Gods country in South Bama to the hunting camp after I get out of the hospital today to hunt the rest of the weekend! Been living vicariously through these threads.

Saw couple bucks and several does. Headed in. I'll keep an eye out the back doors this afternoon.

Speaking of living vicariously, the last 2 mornings going out to my truck to go to work I’m thinking man today is a good day to be in the woods, a bit windy yesterday, I’m up here in Huntsville, but cold and clear , so much wanting to be in the woods ,
I’m going Monday on MLK day , this wknd has traditionally been a really good rut wknd in the Black Belt areas

At a friends club this afternoon. First time I’ve hunted since Thanks giving weekend. Hoping to shoot a doe here then heading to my lease tonigh and hunting for 5 days straight.

I didn't have time to check in and this guy kept giving me dirty looks. I'm tagged out. 2 8pts, a nice 6 pt, and a fat nanny for chili and such. Been a good year on our little piece of heaven. My boy has killed a good 8 pt and we've got a few more nice bucks roaming. Hopefully he can connect again.

4pt, 6pt and few does. Only one I know of that I'd shoot at and haven't seen him in two weeks.

Nothing this evening. Pulled a card from a camera I put up right before Christmas on a trail I’d found after a morning sit. I’m mad I haven’t looked sooner. Got several good bucks including my number one at 8am. So now to sneak a stand in and find a good day to sit.

Heck yeah! Congrats to the killers of the day. I only saw hogs...was about to bust the biggest sow, but she busted me first. I was sitting on the ground.

Well, i got a little blood thirsty this evening, had this deer chase a doe across me. Saw a big deer, didnt really judge the horns good. I dont regret it one bit. I think he was a deer that needed shot.
