I'm in shooting house in Shelby Co. Deer ran by my cell camera about 6:45 headed for the pine thicket.

Hoping they will move in between storms.

Ina pine draw travel corridor in the middle of a natural regrowth 8 yo cutover. I overslept by thirty minutes and had to swap trees so didn't get set until 15 before sunrise. Drippy as hell. At least it's not really warm and not windy. Good luck all.

Pic on cell cam at 5am, cam is on a trail (not food) and 3 were in the field next door here at the office at 645. They seem to be moving behind the storms

Spike crossed in front of me about 30 minutes ago. Best pal is 1/2 mile from me and has chasng in his spot. Hasn't seen him yet.

Best afternoon hunting weather I’ve had this week.

Im about sick of a southwest wind. Worst wind possible for where i hunt. It sux. Come on cold weather. I reckon im fixin to go sit in the sweat ox for an hour.

Storms luckily moved East and not south. Wind has changed to the north and there are 3 deer on the field

Thermals turned the southwest wind into northwest wind. Thats pretty good. Air even has a coolness to it. Maybe ill see some deer.

Well, instead of "heck yeah", and high fives its "should i haves" and "i wonder ifs" tonight. Im just glad to finally see some horns. Sometimes doing the right thing sux.

Ha it's my best wind for my best spot but it sucks cuz it's usually a warm front...I still have em there with it but it would be so much better if I could access that spot from the south

They didn't wanna do the deal this evening them lil ole creeks running hard may have messed them up I don't know

Nosir, he will not get a pass. I just gotta stay out from over there cause if i see him, hes taking a truck ride. Where i hunt is about 3/4 of a mile away. If he slips up and comes over there, all bets are off, hes a dead deer. The first deer i killed last year was a deer we had been getting pics of regularly where Joseph is hunting. Got pics of him one night at the other place and he messed up and hung around too long the next morning. I sniped him out at first light.

Saw a 2 doe’s, a 6 and 8 pt, cameras at others place’s were showing good movement

Finally got out with my daughter yesterday evening after a season of too much work and not enough hunting. Saw several slick heads, 4 wood ducks, and killed 2 mice in the shooting house. Big evening haha.
