Dropping antlers

Found one today in Jackson co. It dropped on March 3rd.

I walked several feilds out this morning. Nothing yet. think we are still a couple days out

Found a shed in Bibb today. Started seeing missing horns on camera early last week

Had a bigun come across my back yard couple hours ago. Had his rack.

Saw a bachelor group last week with three racks, one half rack and one full shed.

Dang, I thought all them north Alabama deer dropped their antlers Feb 1......

In my county it’s not unusual to see them drop in late January. Most drop in February and early March.

Them things is hard to find in a briar thicket.

Me and the Mrs found a nice one today in a plot.

I see several shed bucks by the end of season each year and there will be several brought by processors too. Heck in Bankhead we’d pick up fresh sheds in January every year.

My cameras showed pretty much all bucks dropping about 2 weeks ago in Lamar.

Hunted late season southern Illinois the weekend of Jan 16th and horn droppage was about a third. Saw a shucks ton of deer though.

Found one today in a feild, in Blount co

Had a group of 6 bucks on camera last night in central Alabama and all still had horns.

Found a 1.5 yr old 6 pts side today under the feeder.

The 6 bucks coming to my backyard feeder in Lee county are all still holding.

Got a camera image yesterday of a buck still sporting his antlers.

South Alabama deer will still be chasing. Antlers won’t drop until around May.

Found seven so far, have went three times. Thinking about going on another farm this morning before the rain sets in for the next 36 hrs.

found half of a big eight yesterday, saw three still had both sides.

I saw a nice 8 pt yesterday turkey hunting. He and I were eyeball to eyeball at 20 yards. Still had his rack.
