Across the road again, saw a deer with its nose down going into the sage while getting in the shooting house, lost sight of it. On the other side of the pasture 6 does crossed

In my stand in coffee county. Had a 3 point round and acting goofy and then saw the doe they eased off.

Climbed up a tree early this morning near some scrapes I recently found. I always find a better tree once I climb up. Real still and quiet.

In a ground blind with my grandson. Just had a doe and little one feed for 20 minutes within 10 yards.

I think they’ve given up where I’m at. Did see or hear a truck this morning on public land.
Sitting on the ground with the shotgun. Had a spike come straight to my grunt at 6:45. Hoping something legal is right behind him.

Nice AAC 7.62. I have the same one on my Steyr scout .308. I won’t hunt without it.

Hunting my Russell county clear cut today. Bucks chasing does pretty hard in the area right now. Just not where I'm sitting so far. I hate hunting clear cuts, but I guess you gotta hunt what you have.

I had a doe bring 3 racks bucks into bow range. They just weren’t what I was looking for but there was a big 5 point that almost got an arrow

That's been my past 5 hunts. Pull the camera card, bucks right after dark.

Nothing. Watching a huge cutover. Lots of shooting early tho. Prob heard a dozen between daylight and 715. Average 1 every 10 min or so now.

Same here, I heard around 4-5 different shots this morning in Marion Junction. I didn’t see a thing. Will get back after it after I eat some lunch.
Cameras on my green fields have been slow during daylight, but a lot of activity right after dark.

Congrats on the kills. Ended up seeing 10 does and two bucks. Biggest was a 6 pt chasing a doe thru the sage field. It was fun to watch.

Saw over thirty deer today. Eight bucks, all hyping and acting frisky. Heard a bunch of grunts and a few snort wheezes while they were out harassing the does and each other.

Had a good hunt this morning. Went back to the same spot this after with my wife. Best hunt we've had in several years. Just have seen about a dozen does and 6 or 7 bucks. One was a real nice young 8 point and a couple of 7 points down to a couple of spikes. Would not have stopped her from shooting the biggest 7 point. He was a real nice deer. Be back after them in the AM.
