Going out this evening, with the falling temps and full moon hopefully it’ll line up!

Just settled in shooting house. Was going to sit a saddle in some pines but wind is crazy this morning. Probably swap up around lunch. Good luck everyone

I’m here. Probably only hunt the morning. We will see. It’s a good morning. Wish the wind was a little less. Had a small six pt in the field when I got here. I hope there are some more.

Set up on public. Got a doe cruising through at 75 yards to my left.

2 does just slipped by.

I’m set up on a power line. Gonna pull an all day sit.

This weeks weather is great but I won’t be able to hunt until weekend.

Doe and 2 yearlings at 25 yds. Deer are on their feet this morn.

All I have seen was the six pt that was here when I arrived. The wind has calmed down though.

This ain’t my first rodeo. 😜

I just sat down for a mid day hunt on a secluded green feild! Winds is kicking it

I just told my boss over the radio that today and tomorrow sure would be nice to be in the woods ....he said if he don’t see me after lunch then he knows where I went. But I have a ton of paperwork to do so good luck to everyone, I will keep Aldeer open checking for updates

Temps dropping a little more and the wind is laying where I’m at. Hopefully they move mid day

cell cams are showing my fields filling up with deer coming and going. Movement started about 11:45. You guys hunting mid-day should be in the chips for the next hour or so.

Throwing on some clothes now for a midday.

7 moved through early, got within about 30 yds, wearing the briars out.

Somebody should have a chance at a good one in this weather.

Select cut near my house. Bachelor group of bucks been showing up right at end of legal shooting hour. Hope this weather brings them out a few minutes early.

Shot a hammer of an 8 point at 12:35. Shot him at 260 yd and he dropped but I couldn't see him. Waited 30 min and the buck took of when got about 100 yd from him. No shot . Waited till 2:30 and started following blood.
Tracked him 250-300 yd and had to stop because another member was hunting in the area. Gonna be a long night. Think I hit him in he underloin area. Bunch of crap and big chunks of fat.

Dang shiloh. Hope you catch up with him

I'm not sure I could keep the crosshairs on a deer today with the way my climber was swaying
in the pine tree. My hat blew off in one of those 40mph gusts and landed 20 yards away.

I was able to slip off and saw 12 doe and 1 spike. I was wishing it was the rut the whole time

Thanks guys, she blew the top of his heart off and he didn't make it 10 yards. 3rd hunting trip for her this year and she has her first doe and a buck. She's shooting better than I did at her age

Congrats to the young lady. Good luck Shiloh. Looks like you may have got him in the brisket. I didn’t see squat cross the power line today. Guess they held up in the thickets out of the wind. Hopefully it will be still in the morning. If it is, there ought to be plenty of movement. Calling for west winds, so that power line stand is out in the morning.

Saw the shooter buck I’ve been after but he was running from pigs. Hopefully I see him again tomorrow and get a shot.
