Public land bull. 200 gr eldx. Devastating shot. The bull on the right died 18 seconds later. The third one got away.

Nice. Bout 7 or 8 years ago I killed a doe 520 yards with a 7 mag. I will admit it was pure luck, tried it 3 or 4 more times after that ,could see the bullet hit dirt around the deer.I was hunting
A power line you could see more than 1000 yards. I killed a good 8 pt this past season with my 308 at 350 yds In a hayfeild

Pack out wasn't bad. Up hill but maybe only 3/4 mile.
That shot wasn't luck. I knew when I got my breathing calmed and the rest was good, that elk was dying.
