When it got light enough to see I had three does and a young 7pt in my clover field, he ran the does out now hes working the edge of the field. This red sunrise shining on his coat sure is beautiful. A sight to see for sure

While I'm at the house and not hunting, it's still a sight to see! Also have a few does feeding in the backyard, but no bucks...

That 3 mile 4 wheeler ride was a little chilly this morning. Hard to get anywhere quiet when the ground as frozen as it is.

This is my 1st morning back in a few week. Just killed 8pt dogging a doe. They haven’t messed with scapes since the rain. He smells pretty ripe. There was a decent 6 seen yesterday pm on the edge of a plot with his nose on the ground but didn’t mess with the doe in the field

Its a custom Browning B78, stock professionly refinished to take lacquer off, trigger job, rebarreled with Shilen sporter octagon in 257 Wby mag. It’s a laser, zeroed at 325yds.
Long story how I found it, one of a kind
Shot a big bull of a six point. He’s an old deer we have had around for a while and I finally closed the deal on him. He’s one of those bucks that kept everything ran off. I killed him at 10:30

Congrats on the kills!! Saw several deer this morning and my daughter had a good 8 point get by her - she said that she was "covered up in deer" all morning. We sat from 8:30-11:00 This afternoon i watched a broken up 3 year old try and entertain the girls in a clear cut. Its just a matter of time before one of the mature deer makes a mistake!!

Saw a bunch of Mexicans planting pine trees and three does.
Had a gargantuan three point come in this afternoon. He chased a doe and any buck that tried to join he ran them off. He’s a big ol bull but just a three point. If he shows up tomorrow or when my wife comes he’s done. I did see a lot of does a nice eight point spikes and the big three point

What's the story on your avatar pic...is that open range deer? and the big hole in his neck?

Nice... It's a great looking gun for sure.

I killed that deer at Samson whitetail mountain. Definitely in a high fence. I drilled the deer with my bow and didn’t give him enough time to lay up and die. So when I walked up on him he still had a little life left in him and the guide wanted me to shoot him again. He was laying down so how I was standing my arrow went through his body and came out his neck and a rage broad head destroyed his neck. My brother is my taxidermist he cussed me for having to sew that up
