Been sitting over a 2 year old clear cut since 9:45am. Seen 7 deer so far. Not bad for my first hunt in Alabama this season!

My buddy killed a decent one yesterday cruising but no does around..ive seen 3 bucks this past week just feeding and 3 does last night at house no bucks around em still early here

Just got up a tree at 1250, it is super quiet in the woods today. Went to the very top of mountain and dropped off the side on the first bench. Good sign here, but I’m not looking for sign today. Come on big boy!

Some light rain any reason for me to stay at the house vs running 15 minutes out to the land to hunt after work for 70-80 minutes from a shooting house?

Decent 8 pt my gf has named fat daddy showed up to bad she isn’t with me. She never has wanted to kill horns only does with her crossbow and she picks this very nice tacked 2.5 yr old to kill. Hate she isn’t with me

It rained and kept raining here all day I chose to set it out and do some stuff around the house and in the shop that needed doin, gotta work tomorrow however looks like Thursday we get a break and I'll be back at it

Zero for me this evening. I thought for sure I would see one.

I went out and cut some oyster mushrooms off a tree and hacked some limbs for a good ground spot to hunt the next few days.
