Thank the Lord it isn’t raining this morning. Im parked just killing time before I walk in. I’m planning on hunting all day. I’ve got Vienna sausages, saltines, trail Mix and water.

And toilet paper for the after effects of that lunch 😀

Deer blowing all around me. I’m waiting for the neighbors to run their rabbit dogs. Big boy might come my way when they set em loose!

Sitting on a big power line opposite end that I killed my buck on Thursday evening. Weather is perfect!

Present. Just seen four doe. They didn’t move much last night from the looks of my cameras.

Present. By the lack of deer so far I think they all drown but the dang tree rats are out in full force.

Seen two does so far. My meat for the year is already in the freezer. Looking for antlers now.

Nothing but skwerls a hawk and a huge jack rabbit so far. The sound of ducks flying overhead and shotguns blasting this morning got me to reminiscing and a tab bit envious earlier on.

Is it April yet?? Man I’m covered up in turkeys since daylight.

Nothing here either... and didn’t have not one picture last night... squirrels and chip minis are having a field day tho

Seen 10 and nothing with a rack. Might have to crack the next slick head that steps out.

Just had a dang spike run down the road checking my mock scrape line and tended 2 of the scrapes. Maybe ol big boy will come by.

Everbody huntin this mornin. Somebody ought to lay some thick horns down, we got the state covered.
Me and buddy both on ridges, bottoms on both sides. Slick heads in danger this afternoon.

I have my son (11) with me and we’ve seen a spike, doe and 2 yearlings. Was gonna let him shoot the doe but she never gave him a shot opportunity. Of course one of the yearlings gives him a 50 yard shot and I have to tell him no. So ready for him to get a shot at one.

We saw a spike and a yote. My son got the yote.

Just sat down in the cut over with my 11 yr old. We are trying the no scent no sound approach to get a buck that has been feeding at 11 on camera every day. Nothing but crows so far

Saw a sho nuff goodun on my way home from work I'll be afterem this evening and tommorrow

We’re back after them this afternoon on a field inside a pine plantation with some 2 year old cutover off the back side. Good luck to everyone out this afternoon

Back in the shooting house in a several year old cutover watching a food plot waiting on one to stroll by

20’ up a pine in Bibb co. Just a little button buck so far. Gettin rite and I expect lots of action in the next hour.

Here in Walker county. Got a new shooter on camera and had top hitlist deer on camera at 4:55 on the 12th. Hope he comes back today. Good luck everybody

Pig hunting in Sumter county this weekend

Went to the other side of my county this morning to trim up some roads for turkey season. By far more people hunting this morning than I've seen in several years. 5-6 trucks parked. Another 2-3 headed in gates. Was out from about 7am-9am and still have yet to hear a hunting shot this year.

Shot him about 3pm. Managed to get it on video as well.
