I boogered one up opening weekend if I had got him I'd be done by now. It was real early and I hit a limb growing between two trees I couldn't see

I made a quick scouting trip to Choccolocco this afternoon really just to check a camera for a spot I want to hunt this weekend, I did have my bow in the truck, but I'm in dang street clothes and I only had a short time to run in there and back out. Since those deer rut right now, I had hung one of those scrape drippers a week or so ago, and so I stopped there first just to see if anything had messed with it. I hadn't been standing there 10 seconds and I hear something walking right at me, look up and it's a dadgum good un. He walked to within 12 steps and finally boogered, but he just bounced off about 75 yards and turned around to stare at me for several seconds, then trotted off. He never even flagged....hope I didn't blow him out for the weekend.
