Few does out in the plots. Neighbors planting a plot across the line. Deer are a little skittish but the wind is better today. Fingers getting cold while typing.

Seen a doe at 230 not sure how long I can hunt tho

I didn't see a thing all day. I brought a buddy and put him in one of my climbers and he saw six.

Yup, buddies will do that.

There were up and at em behind the house.

Yousta did. Don’t see near what we used to see. I think pigs have affected us some too.

I've only hunted twice this year, once on Wheeler, once on Cahaba. I definitely do not see deer like that when hunting. I've enjoyed watching em out back though.

I tried to tell you before youre spoiled. 13 is the most ive ever seen at one time and that was in a 100acre area, they werent all grazing together. You dont know how lucky you are to have the deer density you have. When I first got on here I was amazed how many people said they werent seeing deer regularly. I see them regularly, the numbers just aint there and youre gona set a while if you want to kill a good one, might not get a chance every year.

About 4 or 5 years ago I saw 1 deer the entire season...sucked.

You were probably one of the people I was reffering to. Yes that would suck. Glad to see your doing better. Your boy wouldnt want to sit through too many of them one deer years.

Yeah, I was really worried he would lose interest with hardly any action. Our trip was TN in October was great in that we say 27 deer in 2 says and he's still telling people about it. Much better year this year.

I'd have to agree with that. I normally see deer every sit on my property in S Montgomery. It might be 1 or it could be 15 you just never know but I do enjoy going with a few buddies from time to time where you see 20-50 in an afternoon. Hopefully one day my place will get to something like that.

Almost just like me...most I've seen was 12 that was 7 years ago..i see a deer or 2 bout 1 outta 3 hunts...i always kill decent bucks but it's hard hunting and almost always in Jan

I've had 9 in a plot at one time this year and then other hunts didn't see squat. Just depends on how they're moving regardless of deer density - in my situation at least.
