Fixing to head to Paint Rock Valley with a buddy to his hunting club. First morning I've hunted in 3 years. Good luck to everyone that gets to hunt today and wear your harness.

Just sat down in my ladder stand

At work this morning but damn, what a pretty sunrise.

Good luck, but just how does a man go three years without hunting?

In a tree in Perry county. I saw three here last time. The wind is not quite what I want, coming from my 4 o'clock, but I'll wait it out for a bit. I've adjusted from my normal field of view

Alright. Two does and a fawn just came in at 30 yards from my 10 o'clock. They took about 5 steps and the flags went up. They gone. I'm moving to another tree 15 minutes away.

Just got settled in with my son. Our last day of our long weekend. Had a good time and he even got a deer. Hoping for some quick luck. Been a strange start in Clarke County. Pigs have disappeared and we have seen very few deer.

Been 3 years since I've hunted any mornings, hunted plenty in the afternoons except last year. All my places are in row crop so the morning generally suck. I've not ever had any place worth a crap to hunt in the mornings and haven't hunted Skyline since the 16/17 season. It nice to see the woods wake up again though.

Reads like you need to be eating more before you go to bed.

Went this morning shot a boar. And no deer spotted. Good luck the rest of the day fellas. I’ll be back after them this afternoon.

Smoked a big ol female yote this morning just as i was about to climb down. 80 yards and the 130gr TTSX out of the 30-06 was very impressive. First thing I've shot with them, I had wondered how the would expand on a deer but the coyote told the tale. Slightly quartering away entered last rib, exited mid ribs golf ball size. Back up a tree in a different area this evening looking for some meat.

At it again jus got settled in the shooting house already got 3 on the field. Hopefully ole sad daddy makes a mistake and steps out. Good luck fellas

Wind all wrong so I'm sitting on a hillside in a turkey lounger. First time deer hunting this spot.

Warm out today.

It is warm I had a plan for today but it didn't pan out so in a hurry I jumped up a shooting house on a food plot
Hopefully I'll have better execution of said plan tommorow after the rain gets gone depending on what the wind is doing

Slipped in a tree behind the house this afternoon. Watching 3 does in a food plot right now.

Killed a funky racked 8pt. this morning. Saw him and 1 small doe.

Saw momma and baby this morning. Stuck around for the afternoon since we were here. Sitting on the same field where I shot my first deer when I was 8. My 8 year old is getting antsy wanting his first. Be cool to see it happen in this field! Good luck all!

Seen 7 4 scrubs and 3 slicks

Saw 2 does and fawn this morning. Had a 6 pt and 4 pt cross thr road right in front of me on the way out. Didn't know they were still in bachelor groups.

Shot a fat doe this morning for some thanksgiving deer jerky my girls have been begging for some since last season.

Saw 5 this afternoon all does and yearling

Wound up shooting a 7 point with a busted up leg and hoof. He no longer has to struggle to get around.

Had a deer come in right at dark as I was climbing down couldn't tell nothing other it was a deer be at after the rain gets gone tomm
