When the acorns are all gone, they will return to corn.

Unfortunately, he wasn't around during the season. The acorns started dropping a couple of weeks prior to the opener, and I was lucky that my wife and I were able to harvest a couple of freezer forkies. Season ended Nov.1, and acorns are just now getting scarce.

I've heard of "ol Mossy Horns", but this is the real thing!
