My son hammered one just as the sun was coming up. “Doe” that turned out to have itty bitty spikes. Oh well. He dropped it where it stood and I couldn’t be more thrilled! We were both shaking. Man what a fun morning. Memories. Thank you God. I’m blessed.

We’re here. Drove almost 9 hours yesterday/last night in order for us to hunt today. Left at 130 yesterday drove to Murfreesboro to get my son, back home to get the truck, his gun, etc. then drove to the club. We got in bed at midnight and a 4 he was ready to get in the stand. We have planned an all day sit as I have good intel on this spot. Good luck everyone!!

Re: LFTT 11/16 - 11/17/19 01:02 AM

Got skunked all day. First day I’ve went so far this season without seeing a single deer. Felt bad for my daughter but did get to watch a hawk fly straight towards us and land on a limb right beside us. She loved that. His wing span I swear had to be at least 4’ wide. Going to try again tomorrow afternoon.

Re: LFTT 11/16 - 11/17/19 01:03 AM

4 does to end the afternoon for a total of 20 deer for the day.
