Any of y’all deer hunt out of a turkey hunting chiar? I think I’m going to try it this year with a little camo netting as a ground. I think it would be light, easy to pack in, but still be comfortable.

What kind do y’all use?

I do it all the time. I use this one, but got it about half price. I wouldn't pay this much for it. It's not worth that much. There are other ones out there that are good. https://www.cabelas.com/product/Bro...IwlAEAQYAiABEgLV8fD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

How comfortable are they sitting that low to the ground?

I use the cushion out of my summit when I’m on the ground.

I've killed a lot of deer out of one. They are perfect for hunting from the ground.

Most comfortable hunting chair I have ever tried is the Millennium G100 chair. Half the people I know don't have chairs that comfortable in their house.

The M300 tree seat is nice as well.

This opinion was seriously confirmed this weekend, when I hunted a place that had a variety of folding chairs in the ground blinds. My back still hurts.

I can’t sit on the ground that long, my legs go to sleep. I sit on the ground on a camo cushion when I squirrel hunt, but I rarely set more than 45 minutes at a time. I want to be able to sit comfortably for several hours, or possibly all day.

Get a wingman and shooting stick. Can’t beat it on the ground.

More comfortable than any climber I've ever used.

Rarely ever use mine during turkey season but I’ll use it a little more often during deer season. Very comfortable. I don’t fool with any netting. I just use natural vegetation/brush.

I've used a regular metal folding chair in a wooded.fence line and shot a great 11pt from it before. I've got a folding camo chair that I use alot to. It will give you plenty of new areas.to hunt from but the deer can walk right up on you. I always set in thick cover or use a broken pine limb to hide behind. A good tip is to clean the area.below your feet to keep the noise down. Ive.hunted a lot of pine thickets with low vis and learned alot of tricks.

They are very comfortable and I use mine when hunting our mountain property. I'm older and have to roll out of it to get up. My son bought me a primos trigger stick tripod to use with it. Killed a good 10pt hunting out of it last year.

For $175, it better come with its own masseuse and pillow.

That's one of the cheapest expenses I have for hunting. What's it worth to be comfortable and not have your back hurt?

I turkey hunt out of my chair as well as the tree seat. Chair will adjust down to about 13", tree seat can be hung just off the ground if you want.

They are way to comfy. Can’t keep my eyes open.
Great for hunting a road crossing.

I have a Millinium Tree Seat. I’m pretty sure it’s THE BEST ground seat on the market. A tree as big as your arm can be used up huge diameter trees making it very versatile. Anyone who’s ever sat in mine has gone out and bought themselves one. That chair, a good set of shooting sticks and a long shooting lane is just about perfect.

I don’t climb unless someone is at the lease with me (I’ll sit in a ladder stand) so I use mine a bunch on the lease and public land.
