Haven’t been able to deer hunt but one time so far. Got a nice doe 1st time out. Batting 1000 right now - wonder how long that holds out?!!

That pretty much sums up my season this year--killed a buck on opening morning. Season was over when I tagged out at 8:26 am. I spent a lot more time processing than hunting. One buck (no does) per year is quite a change from Alabama. But, on the plus side, we've got weed, wine and weirdos.

Well, I have my best season (percentage-wise) going so far. Been twice, killed twice. Shot a big mule-headed doe this morning... 2-for-2 now!
