3 Day January WMA Gun Hunt Strategy

I will be hunting Barbour WMA This January and would like advice on tactics and strategy for the short hunt. I have driven the roads and hiked a little of the area last February. I planned on hunting edges of different habitats planted pines/ hardwoods. Are conventional tactics out the door since a lot of people are moving the deer around? Do you move around until you find fresh sign? Can you hunt
From the ground or do you have to use a treestand? Any help would be great on where to start or focus . Thanks

I would climb on the back side of a clear cut and sit all day....get where you can see a lot of area.

That use to be a beautiful place in the late 70 thru the 80s my dad use to take me there as a kid. Man I loved that place. Lots of water under the bridge since then
