White Oaks

Couldn’t find an acorn last year around my house but the trees are loaded this year

congrats! my white oaks are empty. Sawtooths are bending they are so loaded though.

can't find a white oak acorn this year, I have a few black oaks that are going to make a mess in my yard though.

Same at our place. Only a few trees had them last year but this year they are all loaded.

Yep, that late frost/freeze back in spring of '18 wiped out a lot of acorns in central Al for last season. Looking much better this year.

Last year at our lease we had ZERO acorns. Haven’t been up in a while to check

My first thought

I went to the camp today and was looking hard for a white oak tree with acorns. Couldn't find a single one. I planted a yellow oak a few weeks ago. It drops twice a day and the deer are tearing it up.

That’s one fast growin oak there son, where can i get me some of those?

I scouted some in Black Warrior yesterday and could not find any acorns on trees.

I think it's one of those new oaks that were just legalized, they're on a timer and drop yellow acorns twice a day.
