Question about public land - 07/22/19 12:18 AM

I have a flat bottom boat me and my buddy wanna put in on some public land and go till we find something we like. set up camp in the woods and just hunt from there. Is that legal or does anybody know where we could do it? Not totally against packing in but the boat would make life a little easier. Thanks

Most wma’s you Have to camp at designated camping areas. Forest you can camp in your truck anywhere but no fire allowed.

In Florida you can camp on the bank of any navigable water. Is there no law like that in Al?

TVA land in North Bama you ought to be able to.

Up to 14 days consecutively at a time i think on tva. Ive had several biologists and game wardens tell me its not a problem on wmas as long as you follow normal regulations and dont build fires where your not supposed to.. dont hold that true for everywhere tho
