I slept in.

At doc in box with wife. I got drawn on a deer yesterday evening with the bow. The deer was smallish let down and maybe it will get a chance to grow up.

Saw two early and nothing since..

That was loudest thunder around 3:30 this am ive heard in while. Being lazy today just woke up. Can’t remember last time I slept this late.

We had a member kill a nice 8 this morning and I’ve seen 3 (2 does and a spike) sitting deep in a bottom. Hopefully a big one comes by. They’re moving in our area. (Near Clayton)

I said piss on it with another fouled up weather weekend. Our roads are beyond horrible with all the log trucks coming in and out cutting neighboring property.

Shot me a public land six point this morning for buck #2 of the year. Now all the attention can be directed towards the big buck I have on cam.

Well i think I'm going to pass. I was thinking of hunting this evening after the rain, but the last forecast i seen said 25 sustained winds and gust in the 30s

Hitting it as soon as rain passes. Radar shows stopping about 2-2:30pm

Decided to come after em this evening. In some hardwoods on edge of big growed up cutover. Got an old buck that’s been here regularly hoping he passes through his evening

Dang it's cleared up pretty good, we decided to come to camp instead, cause i didn't wanna get a wet azz on the way to the stand earlier.

Rain still coming down hard, dang it.. Guess I'll break out the Jack and left my wife beat me in a game of chess.

Well the wind is about hurricane speed now in Greene county

I'll do a couple of double shots to catch up and watch the backyard plot but wife will not let me shoot one on it.

Bad weather just got to Pike County - talked to a couple of guys from Ocala Florida at the grocery store in Troy earlier today - They had killed a nice Dallas County buck this morning and were headed home.

I should have asked if they were on ALDEER.


We will get after them tomorrow and Monday.
