Sitting on a food plot that have had tons of deer the last 3 days. Nothing moving yet. Feeding calendar on the app said 6:31am so they missed it so far. This is the first chance I’ve had to get on this plot.

Sitting a cut over watching the sun warm it up. Hopefully a big en will cruise by. Feels awesome today should be some deer shot.

Deer are on their feet. Rut fixing to be full swing next week here.

I have a place in hackleburg and vina I could hunt. May need to head up north then.
Slow down here so far. Still a ways away from rut.

It’s cooooold

Got two 40lb does cruising thru eating acorns right now. It might be getting better. Cold.

Not hunting today but saw 23 deer on highway 14 between Prattville and Selma

Setting on a cutover,kinda frustrated.I got in this new club, it has a ton of potential.
But the hunters are messing up the place , They haven't killed but 8 deer off this placein
the last 2 years and only. 2 small bucks. We have around 15 Greenfield's , if you can call
them that. The reason I say that, the feilds are less than a quarter acre and they planted
the cheapest deer mix available and looks like no fertilizer was put on them. They are pale
Yellow. I'm hunting the woods for the most part. We have some beautiful hardwood bottoms
there is rubs everywhere so I know there's some good bucks here. The guys buy these pop up
blinds which I like to hunt out of.But they set them up in plain sight without brushing them in at
all. Like now I'm sitting in a shooting house in a good looking clear cut with a pop up blind
Sitting right in the funnel of the main draw I'm hunting. well I signed in at this spot so we will
see if maybe a dumb deer will pass by

If your hunting Wheeler you probably have a while still.

Gotta bail out and work. No more deer other than the two tiny does. Never heard another shot. Guess our deer got what they needed last night.

Sitting over a green field this evening we will see what comes out.

They moving this evening just watch 10 doe and yearlings come out for some turnip greens, stayed around for about an hour. Hope big boy steps out for snack.

Ended up seeing 22 deer. All doe and yearlings.
