Just parked, fixing to load up and walk in. It’s the first cold morning of the year, so hopefully they’re on their feet. 47 degrees here.

Walked in blind to a spot where I’ve seen tracks and poop before. Didn’t have a tree picked out so I’m a bit worried that I won’t be able to see much when the sun comes up. Oh well, maybe I’ll get lucky.

I’m trying!! This new club up here is kicking my butt. I had tons of deer on camera before the season, but as soon as the acorns started dropping they disappeared. The whole club is hardwoods, so I just think they’re not having to move to eat.

It does fell mighty nice up your r way. Up here with the family sitting on deck of cabin.

Been moving around here. Seen a dozen does and fawns so far, two decent 8 points.

Nothing yet. I guess I just suck at hunting big hardwood properties. Gonna get down in a bit and do some walking.

Those big woods are hard to narrow especially until you find fresh sign
