The difference a year makes

Friend of mine from work shared some pics with me of a deer he had on camera for two years.
It got killed this year by a neighbor, but since the conversations here lately always seem to go toward letting deer walk and age, I thought I'd share.
No names, faces or places though.

I don't know in which picture you think he is older but it would have been a non factor to me. I would have shot him either year if I saw him, and I pass up a lot of bucks that I think are young.

top pic is last year and bottom pic is this year. I'm going by what I'm told on this deer, but I can see several similarities. He told me it was the same deer and I can see that. I have an after velvet pic where he was killed but I won't post that.

Should have dropped his ass the first time he saw him.

He says they are and he's had pics for two years. He didn't purposefully let the deer go last year! He would have shot it, but didn't and it got even bigger. I personally was looking at the deers right G2 and both deer have 3 very similar points at the top. Also his left side has a drop tine in the same location, plus the brow tines look similar. Whatever though.
