Hazmore seats - 11/13/17 02:25 PM

If anyone uses it, would it be more comfortable than a Summit seat? I've got an ole man with the net seat, any comparisons?

I really like the hazmore. It lets you sit more on top of your stand than the summit seat allows.if youre already used to the net seat on the ol Man, you'll love the hazmore. I really prefer it on my bowhunting setups

Love it. One less thing to carry and set up. It's a lot more comfortable than I anticipated too... not as comfy as the Summit seat, naturally, but it's plenty comfortable.

I've sniffed around at the Hazemore seats, definitely seems like it would be great for bow hunting. Does it cause your knees or shins to bump up against the front rail on a Summit Viper or Goliath? That would be the the only negative I could think of.

I didn't prefer it on my viper but I like it on my Cobra. I use my viper when I really want comfort and the hazmore doesn't beat the summit seat for that. It does have some advantages though, how high you're able to sit in comparison to the bar if your bowhunting out of a viper for example

I gotcha. It would take a special kind of seat to beat out a Summit for comfort, that's for dang sure.

You'd have to be Andre The Giant, for your knees to hit the front bar on my Titan smile.
I'm 6'4" and have no issues with that.

Lol bbrown thanks for the first-hand experience review! I'll look into getting one of these to use during archery season. Are the pretty easily installed/removed? I'd for sure like to have the Summit seat for gun hunting.

Take a look at Buckhorn's Hammock Seat. It is better than the Hazemore. There is a review I made of it too if you click the Reviews button

When I am looking for comfort I use the summit seat on top of the net seat so I can still be sitting up high and have a comfy butt rest.

Currently have this setup on an Ol' Man stand I've been using, but last year I did the same with my summit.

I bought a summit seat to replace an old net on my Treewalker. I can't climb with that dang thing! You have to sit on the seat to climb a Treewalker. You can't sit on the bar. It's a huge seat that has a backrest, so it folds into 3 sections. And it sits too low below the top frame, but it's comfortable. This is one of the reasons I don't care for Summit stands. I have a Hazemore that will be delivered tomorrow.

I like the Hazemore seat. Very comfortable, weighs nothing, and no set up once you get to your height. Also no issues with noise or getting wet

Have the Hazemore seat on my treewalker.. I Like it. Slides, light weight, comfy, silent.. Better than most net seats.

Sit in a gunslinger and you will throw away the Summit lol. They face the tree though and some folks don't like that but for pure comfort nothing compares. It's literally like sitting in a recliner.
