Already got my vacation days in and I'm taking a one year break from school. Me and my longbow are happy.

I usually make it to bout the end of june before i start scouting... I ride by spots an im just like "will it kill?" then i wind up walkin around for an hour. Did it today.. Found like 7 persimmon trees..ive got a problem.. i know.

Equipment is ready ,cameras are out

two weekends ago I started putting out cameras, clearing shooting lanes for new bow spots, I got in there with my chainsaw and a weedeater with the blade option on it and cut a road for the 4 wheeler across a swamp on our place. This is the kind of work I don't mind doing.

I even got some feeders out for the first time this year.

So excited, I cant stop thinking about opening day.

I watched four bucks hog hunting Saturday afternoon. Had an 8 point that's gonna be a nice one eat corn for an hour atleast.

Going on about 3 months till blackpowder opens on some public ground I'm going to be hunting in SC after I move. Getting my lifetime license before I leave NC, and going to be hunting AL in December and January. Going to be awesome to get to hunt the rut pretty much from late October into January. Can't wait!!!!
