Mounts Back from Artistic Whitetails

Charles called last week and said he had my deer ready. I'm always excited to get deer back from him because I know it will be top notch work. As expected, he didn't disappoint.

The first deer is from west Alabama. Not a high scoring deer but had a lot of trash and character around his brow tines. Actually had 14 scorable points so I figured I would shoulder mount him.




The second deer was an early season bow kill from Kentucky. Probably my favorite deer I have on the wall now. The short hair and velvet make him unique for sure. Also a pretty cool story to the hunt as well. Nonetheless, Charles did a great job on him. Thanks again buddy.

That velvet buck is the reason I'm getting a buck mounted i killed this year on that form. I picked mine up from last year and that one was hanging up. I told him that's what I want. He's about the best around

Pretty sure that the Kentucky bowkill is a Joe Coombs 9500 wall pedestal, the other looks like a McKenzie 6900 series semi sneak. That 9500 series wall ped looks great I actually know because I got Charlie to do my buck from this year on it.

Kentucky deer is on a Coombs 9500.

Alabama deer is on a Mears Semi Sneak. Really like this form and use it on most of my deer.
