Need a dog for early tomorrow morning!

My son shot his first deer this evening! Seemed to be a solid hit, but had trouble finding a trail with it being dark. It dove into THICK pines. It might be 10 feet into the woods, or could be a ways in. Does anyone know of someone that could help track early (6:15am) tomorrow morning? This would be Bibb county (Greenpond, West Blocton area).

No luck finding a dog or no luck dog finding deer? If you haven't found a dog yet and those guys aren't answering, try IdahoMike

The guys we contacted about a dog were out of town. Not sure what happened with the deer. He certainly hit it, but no blood. Searched this morning, but no luck finding the deer.

How did the deer react Joe? Did it jump, kick, etc? Did you find any hair at the hit site?

Not sure right as the shot occurred, but after the shot it was struggling to make it into the woods across the gas line. Was kinda 'hunched" over with back legs not at full strength. And no hair.

Did you try Mike Lopez?
He may or may not still be in Alabama.
