Just pulled my gun up on the natty forest in Cleburne Cnty. I'm in a different spot than usual. So far it's alot better weather than yesterday.

Set up in a hardwood draw in a thicket. Had one come through around 6:50 on the opposite ridge in some thick stuff. Good luck fellas!

Good luck everyone. Was coughing all night, decided to not go again. The only spot I want to hunt is where I think there is a buck or two, and I don't wanna cough em away.

At my lease near Fort Deposit in a ground blind on top of a hill looking down what I call the driving range. 250 yard long by 15 yard wide green field that dead ends at a bottom. Finally some green poking up. Time to try out the suppressed daniel defense 7.62.

Great morning to hunt. I have seen 9 doe and 4 bucks so far. One of the bucks looked to be a nice 8pt.

Y'all get after 'em for me! I'm at work this morning, and am headed to, of all things, a wedding this afternoon! LOL I probably won't hunt tomorrow unless it's not raining in the morning, but I'll get back after 'em Sunday afternoon. Kinda taking my time after a successful November! But come January... those deer better be wearing Kevlar!

Seen 4 all after 9:30

Saw four rack bucks cross the railroad this morning about 8:30 in castleberry, around trus joist. So if any of you guys hunt around there your bucks are still together..3 of them were shooters.they were nice to see

I'm hunting our biggest foodplot this afternoon, hoping a big buck will come check out the dies before dark...Hopefully, the deer will move well this afternoon before that rain gets here tonight.

Shot a good one he ran past me and went down 60yds layed there for a little jumped back ran 10yds fell again. It's been 10 mins he got back up and stumbled 30 more yards and I think went down again. This is nerve racking waiting.

Im sitting looking over an actual green field and about 20 acres of clear cut. Too bad I left my binoculars at home.

I've seen 27 deer on a 3 acre greenfield this afternoon. Almost all of them are still out here

I saw 9 deer this afternoon, but nothing bigger than a spike...I'm tickled to see that many today; that's the best movement I've seen since before Thanksgiving

Thanks everyone. Yeah this buck was close enough for me to hear everything going on after the shot but it was just to thick to get off a finishing shot. Luckily he was just too busted up to make it far even tho he tried his dangest to do so. He had a little ground shrinkage on me but i hunted hard and am very happy with this buck.
