1)So what's in your call arsenal ( grunts bleats, etc...). Brand and name please?

2) What's your philosophy on early season calling?

Don't use any here

Rattling a corn bucket

Quaker boy buck brawler. Opening day I knew there were deer staging in the woods ahead of me. I hit the grunt twice and that was like ringing the dinner bell. I only grunt once or twice right at dark early in the season.

Calls hardly ever work in this state. That said the only call I carry is The Can.

I use the can and the extinguisher grunt call, I don't leave home without my extinguisher, it's the best call I've ever used.
