Hunting Conecuh Natl forest - 10/20/16 07:53 PM

Just moved to Brewton and need to find some places in the forest to hunt. Are there any areas to avoid? I am disabled but can walk just can't do as much as many of you. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Avoid people and put your boots on the ground.

Typically in the western side of the forest there are less deer numbers. Blue spring wma is one of the best in the state in my opinion. There's some Texas genetics in that area. The biggest bucks I've seen come from around the yellow river.
