Acorns starting to drop

Every oak I walked by day already dropping acorns

I scouted some land yesterday and found 2 white oaks that where dropping so I know where I'll be in 3 weeks

I found some spots with acorns dropping, got it marked on my GPS. I feel more ready this year than I ever have, scouting wise.

The oaks in my yard are raining acorns. And all but the red oaks are loaded.

What part of state?

Got several green ones on the ground, just a few are brown. Squirrels are cutting them left and right!

Unless u have a good recipe for acorn soup don't jump the gun. Hunt the sign not the symptom.

Found oodles of acorns (white oaks) on the ground this weekend in North Jackson Co. Looks like the deer are eating them up pretty fast also.

Sawtooths are loaded in Bibb co. Maybe a good acorn crop will give our plots some time to get rain!

Busted a single doe this morning 10 yds from my front widow at around 5:00 am when I took my dogs out. Busted her again in same spot tonight around 9:00 when I took my dogs out for the last time tonight. First acorn eating deer I've seen this year.
