Is anyone here a member or know anything about it? What does the deer population look like in that area? It is located in Fort Deposit in Lowndes County.

I'm not a member and I don't know one. But I do know Ft Deposit and the area has some great deer hunting.

Find out if it's Greg Gallanders (sp?) club.
If so there's a LONG list of people who didn't like him on here. That having been said I hunt with a couple guys who hunted with him recently. I can try to put you in touch with them to get a real first hand opinion.

Chris Holman runs the club. I met with him and looked at the club a few weeks ago. They want to shoot 4yr old bucks and have 1600 acres. Old camp house with two small rooms that needs some work but livable. They do have a "cull buck" policy that I don't understand he tried to explane but I didn't understand. He is a nice guy. I think he wants 12 members at $2500 each. He has had the place for 3 years I think. I think this year they killed three bucks but I know one of them was a spike they shot for a cull. Again I don't understand his cull buck rule. I told him I am considering joining but still exploring options. I have a few other things in the works.
