Only thing I've had that is worse is a dang earache. I battled one all night and finally got up about 3am dressed and drove the 10 miles to walmart to find something to give me some relief

Just got off work, guess I might as well get in the stand this morning. Headed to pickens county.

Headed out to sit behind the house before work. Been seeing deer nearly every sit.

I figured today will be last day to hunt until Saturday so I'm headed that way. Can't kill Em sitting at home complaining about the weather.

Sittin in a ground blind watching a big cutover.

No rain here. Back in my SH in Perry Co. Maybe the public land hunter won't trespass today and screw my hunt up.

Sitting in my climber in some thinned pines. Saw 2 as I was walking in. Fingers crossed!!!

Not raining here. Trying an area I found last Friday with some buck sign. Near good thick stuff, thinned pines and a swampy bottom area. Just had 2 does and a big fawn feed through.

I love hunting thinned pines like that sulli. Especially if you ran get on a ridge and watch funnels on both sides with thicket near by.

Doe and fawn came back through.

Can't tell myself...that thumb looks mighty big ..pics are deceiving..could be a 30-378 or a 243...either way good luck and that's a nice spot..

Had one grunting about 100 yards from me in thick pines at 9:10 but he went the wrong way. Maybe if he is with a doe she will bring him back this way.

Just had another doe come through.

So foggy here I can't see anything. Heard a buck grunting sounded like he was chasing a doe and couldn't even see them.

I didn't see the first deer this morning. Seen 1 squirrel and that's it.

Nothing but does this morning. Gonna try a spot I haven't hunted this year. Good trail coming from bedding area through thick stuff headed toward open pines below me. Hardwoods over my left shoulder. Green field over my right shoulder. I can see a scrape freshly worked that I spotted after I sat down.

Back where I was this morning hoping one will screw up and show itself during daylight

I'm in a creek bottom where I killed the "wavy 7" last year. Heavy fog rolling, if the rain holds off long enough this is good weather for a buck to come slipping through.

In my wifes shooting with her this afternoon watching her greenfield until fark. We found a spent 3006 casing when we came in. I wonder who has been in here before she uses a 243. Things that make you say hummmmm.

Deer were moving at my place this PM. Didn't get a shot at one because I had my bow, but I saw more deer then I ever have in one sit. Was nice to see. Also nice to see a buck on this property. Nothing huge, but I WANT HIM.
