Southeast Winston ???

Anybody been out in this heat/rain over the weekend? Any chasing going on yet? I'm planning on getting out there Wednesday and Thursday.

I've got family that live in that general area. They've seen no chasing and very little buck activity in general. It's still a little early, and it's been too warm to get the big boys up and moving. The temps are going to drop back off at the end of the week with a N/NW wind. If you're going Wednesday and Thursday, you should hit it just right. Mature deer should be feeling good by then, and with the low temps at night they will be on their feet feeding earlier to make body heat. Good luck.

Been hunting winston county part of black warrior 3 hunts so far and haven't seen a deer. Only hogs so far.
