I am here too....not raining here in walker county right now. It has rained over night..should be a quiet slip in. My wife and my little girl are going together ...and it me and my little boy will be together, we making it a family affair today

I am right beside gorgas steam plant. Our property is between gorgas and tutwieler road...and we have some across tutwieler

Slept in for the 5th day in a row. It's been nice

I'm itching to go hunt the two new spots I've found one is tore up with fresh rubs every 20 ft it so on 4 inch trees . I don't want to over pressure it though I'm going to wait on a cold snap . I want to slip back in a put a camera on the trail.

Sitting in a shooting house not my favorite place to be in the morinings but it is dry. A light rain here in Lamar Co.

Deer hunting has been tough last few days on this side of Lamar Co how has it been over there y'all been seeing much.

I haven't seen a deer while hunting the past 2 days, and we typically see quite afew deer.... Our cameras are loaded with night pictures and very few daylight photos!!! Im hoping this rain changes em up a little today!

Just got climbed behind my house. Got my umbrella up so I'm pretty dry. I killed two of my biggest bucks on days just like this one so I'm pretty pumped

Got in a tree bout 315 hoping to catch one moving ahead of the weather. Good luck it's freaking hot

Got my wife with me today sitting in a shooting house in the rain. Looking over a 3 acre cut corn field with a food plot in one corner. Row pines on the west side of the field, Creek bottom to the north and east. Maybe they will get up for a snack before dark, hopefully this rain won't make em lay up all evening.

Was t planning on hunting this afternoon, but got invited to come with a friend on the other side of reform. Have had 4 doe feeding in front of me the last 30 minutes.

A spike just left a tiny food plot in some short pines. Come on big poppa. It so hot.

I haven't seen squat this evening. This weather is terrible. It depresses me.

I noticed the past two days that the woods were just dead...apparently this frontal system that brought the warm air just shut all the wildlife down. Crows were quiet, no squirrels or chipmunks moving, I even saw a bunch of hens fly down and they never made a peep, just sort of stood around looking depressed.

Agreed...haven't seen anything since Thursday

0 here too saw one doe in 7 sits this weekend between me and my wife.

Ended up seeing 3 2 does and a spike!!!

Nothing but rain for us this evening

Nothing for us either.

Rained like piss pouring out of a boot on me all day. Saw a young racked buck messing around a scrape line walking in, a doe about 1/4 mile on in,
and then nothing until around noon.

Around noon I started seeing a little movement. Probably saw 4-5 between 12-3pm.


A wet, hot, and long day....which beat the hell out of working!

One little ole 4 point this morning for me and nothing this afternoon. ..didn't even hear any shots today
