Archery is $465 and gun is $365 so close to $900 with all the fees.

They have a draw system later in the year. You can buy them over the counter once you are in Illinois. That's what I always do. Way easier. Just go to any Walmart, hunting store, etc and buy it over the counter

I would go to a hunting store or somewhere people are used to selling them to out of state hunters. Just a word of advice, 11:00 at night, in a Walmart in the middle of nowhere, should not be your first choice.

I will probally do the draw...with my luck they would be all sold out. I know they have had a lot left but now that I need one they would be gone

They never sellout of archery tags. Draw is the only way to get a gun tag.
