1/2 & 1/2 corn and Buck Booster right now.
I will go to straight protein here in a few weeks when it really warms up.
G&D has it for about the same price that BhamFred is paying.
It is good stuff and the deer LOVE it!

Started with Record Rack from Tractor Supply out of convenience, I was already in there. Figured there was a better/cheaper option.

Re: Protein Feed - 03/08/15 07:50 AM
I do same as Hogwild, 1/2 corn 1/2 pellets this time of year
I am 50/50 right now too. If you can find a AG feed/seed store that carries Record Rack 20% the price should be much lower than TS.
as a FYI Buck Booster isn't available where I am. I'm sure it is great. I am having good results with Record Rack.

I'm feeding record rack and corn in a 2 to 1 ratio. Tossed it all out at once for a survey and deer absolutely hammered it to the dirt and then some. I think riverside was a dollar less or so than TS had it.

I feed around 10 tons a year for the past 8 years. The best results have been in order, Buck Yum, Record Rack, Buck Booster, Layer Pellets. I mix all of them with 50% corn until June, then go straight protein.
