Long time military interest here - military surplus pistols are not easy to find and are stupidly expensive. That said they are out there. Gunbroker.com will have a good listing of them but they are at the high end in prices. Another way is to visit the local gun stores, let them know what you are looking for, and tell them you will pay cash. That way they are more likely to purchase one if they know there is an interested buyer. Stop by the stores every two weeks at least and have at least $1000 cash. Here is another good source: Proxibid.com. I've found several by spending time there. Lugers are in the $800 -$2000 range, 1911s the same, P38s $800, Nambus $750, VIS35 Radoms $700 up, Webley/Enfield revolvers $400, PPs $700, C96s $800-$2000, - all depends on condition and rarity. Collecting military pistols is a great way to make $ disappear quickly. Good luck with it.
