I bought two decoys in 2016. In 2017 they both leaked the air out around the place where you incert the stand. I have emailed Avian X about if they will replace them as they leaked after one season of use and I have never heard back from them.

Has anyone else had issues with Avian X?

No. AvianX was created by Fred Zink of Ohio, a good guy and hardworking sumbitch who hunts/hunted all over, knew what worked and didn't, was into competition calling as well, and created a solid company with IMO good products.

But AvianX is owned by Plano-Synergy, which does own the Busbice stuff. But the Busbice family did not create AvianX.

They will tell you to run a bead of superglue around the edge. I did and mine have been aired up for a year now.

Does Plano Synergy own the busbice stuff? Or do the busbices own Plano-Synergy?

I know there was some shake up when he poached an Elk or something last year

I’ve got an Avian X hen. Mine leaks but even so it still looks great. Seems to naturally hold its shape.

Mine leaked but that was because I blasted him with #5s. I blew him and held sprayed him with soapy water to determine where the leaks were and sprayed them with that Flex Seal. No more leaks.
