I help my buddy run a club and last year we put two members out for blatantly putting out corn and apparently we missed a few. The game warden came up on him in the middle of our club . He was legal and where he was , was clean . They named about five spots they knew corn was out and they were all close to the road and easy to access . one member that was there last year and suppose to be a friend went all in and put out 5 55 gal drum feeders. He owned up to it when asked and said he would get it out on his off day but at best these areas are illegal fro 15 more days if he can get all of it up. we got a new member that is putting it out 100 yards off county rd.and a couple that if they ain't putting it out are trying to hunt behind the ones that are.
I guess my thoughts on corn hunters is they are mostly to lazy to actually hunt and the ones trying to hunt behind them are worse they are lazy hunters and to sorry to buy their own corn.

You're not the only one, but we are certainly in the minority.

We don't hunt over it. Do run feeders year round though. Putting corn out all over different places alters their patterns and makes the older bucks more nocturnal on our place from what I have seen.

Just have the corn 100 yds away and out of sight. Then you're legal.

And it's 10 days from corn removal, not 15, I believe.

Its 10 days after the last kernels are gone unless they changed it since I was there. They just kick one leaf over and find a piece of corn and you can get ticketed.

Correct. When the season's over, though, I'll put some out until September.

I don't know how many people are hunting over corn, but I know the gas station between where I live and hunt sold over two pallets of corn in less than a week. I wish they would just make it legal and be done with it. I have never done it but I think it is just stupid to be writing people tickets for using corn to kill something that everybody is trying to kill using every gadget, and planting anything and everything known to man but corn out of a bag is where we are drawing the line.

Yeah it's 10. My buddy (who was a GW) would video it, and bust your ass before the 10 days (after feed was gone) was up lol

So true when you really think about it. Isn't it the most stupid crap you ever seen. Just idiotically stupid.

Your club rules and legal right to put out corn are two separate rules. The law is you can put out all you want, but have to be 100 yards away out of sight of stand. I would want designated areas marked for only corn to prevent members from violating the law. Maybe they need to be in another club or you guys allow corn within legal limits. Really, I don't see the problem it actually is extra work to put it out. Whichever the club rules read is how I would go.
