How detrimental to a food plot is it to plant it both in the spring and then again in the fall? If you plant a plot only in the spring, what do you guys do to it in the fall? Do you overseed it with anything to prevent erosion?

A summer plot can be more beneficial than nothing it all if you put the right stuff in it, especially nitrogen fixers. If you do nothing with it in the Fall, native weeds and browse will most likely grow in it.

How detrimental to the soil is it to do a fall and spring plot in the same location?

As long as you can replenish what you need with the appropriate minerals, it's not detrimental at all.

I like to ,leave a couple of rows of my summer plot next to the treeline for bowhunting. Usually iron clays, soybeans and corn broadcast together.
